Purushotham Sirasapalli

CS + Math at the University at Buffalo. Robotics and systems researcher. Graduating May 2026.

I build systems that push computation to the edge: from a metagenomic classifier that indexes the full Archaeal, Bacterial, Fungal, and Viral NCBI catalogs (17 GB on disk) and classifies in 800 MB of RAM, to decentralized swarm robots localizing signal sources without a central coordinator. I care about making algorithms work under real hardware constraints. Open to new-grad roles in SWE, robotics, performance engineering, or HFT.

Now Building SKiMet's gRPC server/client framework · awaiting IROS 2026 review · open to new-grad roles starting June 2026.
